*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW limited options, and you do have to go into specifics to make sure your food is safe, but I had no reaction as a very sensitive celiac! I got the Kona burger, and here's where you do have to go a bit into details for a safe meal: the grill is shared / they do grill buns - BUT if you say it's an allergy, they'll cook EVERYTHING, bun and toppings, on tinfoil. They also will switch utensils, just again be as clear as you can. Furthermore - they often butter the buns. I asked for no butter since the butter is probably used for regular buns. Our waiter's mom had celiac and he said she feels comfortable eating the burgers and salads here. The burger was great and very flavorful, the bun is an Udi's bun, but got the job done. They do have a shared fryer so none of the sides are safe.
This place has never disappointed Been coming for years and it's just as good every time the staff is very friendly and nice, service is fast and the food is fantastic Highly recommend
Came here for some quick appetizers before dinner. Decided not to stay because wine selection was limited but that was no big deal at all. Sat at the bar but if it's super cold outside stay closer to the middle of the restaurant as employees are constantly going next door and opening the door a lot next to the bar. Service and ambiance was amazing. We loved the nachos and the mozzarella sticks were your standard, every day mozzarella sticks.
Long time family favorite, the best burger joint in Breckenridge. Their sauces are unreal, the bartenders hilarious and knowledgeable. Buffalo patties also on the menu.
If you are looking for a great eatery I'd recommend that you check out Empire Burger. We were served so much food that we had plenty of food to take home. My Bacon burger was fantastic and the fries were top notch. You can eat outside or inside and the service is great.
Empire Burger was so good! My sister and brother in law and I stopped here after a long day in the mountains. Upon walking in we were told to sit wherever we would like so we chose a small table by the window. The lady can't remember her name but she brought us glasses of water to start, shortly after that our server Silas greeted us with a very welcoming smile! My sister and I ordered the dude which is a White Russian shake, my go to drink is a White Russian so this shake was right up my alley and so so good! Our appetizer was the trailer tots which was the perfect amount of bacon, jalapeños and cheese. We opted for the wasabi mayo and garlic mayo for dipping. The wasabi mayo was the perfect amount of both mayo and wasabi neither one over powered the other, the garlic mayo was the same a perfect amount of both mayo and garlic but I would have to say my favorite was the wasabi! The burgers we ordered we amazing as well! I had the mushroom Swiss, it was so big I ended up taking half of it home with me, burger and mushrooms were nice and tender and the burger was juicy and had good flavor! My brother in law had the red chili cheese burger and well I'm not just he tasted it because he just inhaled it. He must of liked it though because he kept saying on our ride home how good it was. Now my sister had the guac bacon burger and it looked good too! She had me try the guac on her burger and it was so good! It tasted like my momma use to make for us growing up! Over all Empire burger is a must stop! Dont forget to order your trailer tots and remember it's open late!
Great burger and bar in Breckenridge. I found myself here one night after a conference. I liked it so much I went back on my last day in town. During the evening hours it has a very dive bar feel. I was with a group from the conference and everyone was having a blast. During the day the vibe is very much a restaurant. I sat outside since the weather was nice. If it's summer, I encourage you to do the same. Both times I got the green chili burger with fries. Add jalapeños if you want to step it up a notch. The burger was cooked properly, was juicy, and delicious. The fries were hand cut and damn good. I added a side of their garlic mayo which was an excellent choice. If you're in Breck and want a burger, get yourself to Empire.
Don't be a Rebel, join the Empire! That'll probably be the only time I ever say such words, but it was strictly to catch your attention. Did it work? ;D The Empire Burger is exactly what a person needs after a long day! Whether you're in town for a shred session or dropping by after a summer walk around town, they will have something that'll make YOU and THE WHOLE FAMILY happy. There's salads for anyone who is watching their carbs, fried delights for peeps who need alil' crunchy bite, creamy shakes for the kiddos (and boozy ones for adults), and of course, big bad n' juicy burgers for all the burger loving bro and babes. As far as ambiance, this is not your romantic date night spot. It's your casual, typical sports bar vibe with a chill and easy going wait staff. Shout out to Psi who took great care of us! We ordered: Fried Zucchini Chips w/ a side of Ranch Mushroom Swiss Burger w/ a side of Roasted Garlic Mayo Western Burger *Super important note, all the sauces are HOMEMADE!* For now, Empire Burger is King of Burgers in Breckenridge for our family!
